The National Pan-Hellenic Council at Eastern Kentucky University is the governing body for our historically Black Greek-Letter Organizations (BGLOs). Currently, there are 7 organizations on the yard. There are currently four sororities: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.. Also, there are currently three fraternities: Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.; Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.; and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.  All nine members of the NPHC are interested in re-establishing a chapter on campus if one does not currently exist.

Nationally, there are nine BGLOs recognized by the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC). They are known as the Divine Nine. NPHC fraternities and sororities represent over 1.5 million members internationally.

The council promotes interaction through forums, meetings, and other mediums for the exchange of information and engages in cooperative programming and initiatives through various activities and functions.

Come and join us for the NPHC and MGC Welcome Back Kick Back on August 16, 2023 from 4PM to 6PM in KJ Plaza. NPHC will also be represented at the Greek Tailgate during Big E Welcome and at the All Greek Carnival on August 18, 2023.
