NPHC President's Welcome

Greetings Everyone,

My name is Jazmin (Junie) Cain and I’m a senior Sports Management major here on Eastern’s campus. It is such a honor to be able to serve as the president of the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC). I am a PROUD member to be apart of the FINEST organization and that is Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated. I am also currently the President of Black Student Union and I am actively involved on campus in other organizations. Being involved in these organizations help you grow into the person that you are and helps you seize opportunities.

The National Pan-Hellenic Council was founded on May 10, 1930 at Howard University in Washington, DC. The purpose of NPHC is unanimity of thought and action as far as possible in the conduct of Greek letter collegiate fraternities and sororities and to consider problems of mutual interests to it’s member organizations. The Council is made up of nine different historically black fraternities and sororities, known as the Divine Nine;

Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.
Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.
Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.
Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.
Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc.
Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc.

As a council, we endeavor to establish a positive climate for each student throught endless events that each organization host that rigorously centers around the mission and purpose behind that organization. As President of the organization, I will make sure we stay true to our mission and execute new ideas to make a place of position for all. We invite you to come out and learn more about us. Thank you
