NPHC President's Welcome

Greetings,

My name is Elisabeth White, I am currently a junior, social work major, and a 2017 spring initiate of the Zeta Nu chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. I currently serve as the 2019 President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council here on EKU’s campus. NPHC is a collaborative organization of the nine historically African-American fraternities and sororities and currently, we have Seven of those organizations on our campus. These include Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc., Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc., and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. Our NPHC is notable for hosting a step show during the African American homecoming year, stroll off bi-annually, Greek 101 every semester, and other events throughout the year. While being on campus I have been involved in so many events and organizations such as Black Student Union, Freshman Academy, Upper Academy, and the Dr. Martin Luther King Banquet. AKA and the other organizations I am apart of has taught me how to work with others efficiently and be a positive role model here on campus. Joining Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority Inc. I have learned a lot when it comes to business and how a national organization should be ran. This year I am looking forward to serving as the NPHC president and plan to be a positive asset to the Greek community as well as continuing to be a leader on campus.

Elisabeth White, NPHC President
