Panhellenic President's Welcome
On behalf of myself and the Panhellenic Community of Eastern Kentucky University, I would like to congratulate you on becoming a Colonel and welcome you to some of the most exciting years of your life! For the next few years, The Campus Beautiful here at Eastern will be your home away from home, and it has so much to offer.
In my time here at EKU the student organizations that I have been a part of have helped me to grow both scholastically as well as personally. My advice to you would be to get as involved as possible with the Campus community and to fill your time here with experiences that will enrich not only your collegiate career but also your future endeavors. No matter what path you choose here, the Panhellenic Community will be here to support you. The women of our Panhellenic Community support each other in achieving our goals, both in and out of the classroom. Our Panhellenic community consists of seven amazing chapters. Each chapter has its own distinct set of values, but we all come together to better each other. While these chapters are diverse in themselves, all of the chapters consist of hard-working, considerate, and intelligent women.
No matter the chapter, Panhellenic women work to help each other grow and achieve great things. Whether you are at the beginning of your time here at EKU or close to the end, the Panhellenic Community encourages you to join a Greek organization. I firmly believe that I am a better woman and leader because of my time in this community. The women in these chapters are motivated, caring, and giving individuals, and they will support you and your scholastic and philanthropic endeavors. Service is a huge part of why I joined a Greek organization, and it has been truly rewarding to help others in the Richmond Community that have supported me during my time here at EKU. There are also numerous leadership opportunities within the overall Panhellenic Community as well as within the individual chapters. College is a time of growth and through my time in this community,
I can truly say that I have grown in ways that I could not have imagined. I encourage you to browse the Panhellenic website to learn more about going Greek and to follow our Instagram (@eku_panhellenic) to stay informed and learn more about our individual chapters. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions on social media or the Greek life website.
The entire Panhellenic Executive Board wishes you the best in your journey here at EKU and we hope to see you soon. Stay safe and healthy!
Best Wishes,
Kate Richardson
